Policies, Terms & Conditions

All registrants must agree to KAC’s terms and conditions.

Cancellation

Classes not meeting minimum enrollment numbers will be cancelled in the week prior to their start.

If your class is cancelled, you may select one of three ways to receive your refund:

  • A refund for 100% of the tuition of the class. To ensure prompt refunds, please make sure the mailing address and/or email address we have on file for you is correct.
  • A transfer into a different class. This is dependent upon current class enrollment levels.

Registrations originally paid for with a gift certificate are not eligible for the refund options. In these cases, a gift certificate will be reissued in the amount originally paid for the class or you may opt to transfer into a different class, depending on availability.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals one week (7) or more days prior to the first day of class: student will receive a refund of the class tuition less a $20 withdrawal fee.

To ensure prompt refunds, please make sure the email address we have on file for you is correct.

Withdrawals six (6) days or fewer before the first day of class: student will NOT receive a refund or credit towards another class. Students may transfer to a different class in the same quarter in which they’re registered but not to future quarters.

Withdrawals the first day of class and thereafter: no refunds or credits.

Communication

Class enrollment and transfer confirmations, supply list changes, cancellation notices, surveys, and other important notifications are sent via email. Please add [email protected] and [email protected] to your email contact list to prevent important messages and confirmations from being sent to your spam folder. Due to the volume of communication received, the Education Department infrequently contacts students via telephone or USPS mail.

Youth Enrollment

Students must be 18 or older to register for adult classes. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the KAC Education Department staff and the class instructor. Those interested in registering their children ages 17 and under in adult classes must call or visit the KAC Education Office for permission to register.

Waitlist

If a class is full, students may sign up online for the waitlist. If an enrolled student withdraws, waitlisted students will be contacted in the order of the list.

If a waitlisted student does not register for the available space within one business day of being contacted, the space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist. If there is no one else on the waitlist, the space may be opened to the general public for registration.
