At Kirkland Arts Center, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the arts. Our scholarship program helps make visual arts education more accessible by reducing financial barriers to participation.
For more than 60 years, Kirkland Arts Center has provided creative learning experiences to Kirkland and the greater Eastside community. As a nonprofit visual arts center, we are committed to fostering creativity, encouraging artistic exploration, and welcoming people from all backgrounds.
Through our scholarship program, we strive to ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent individuals from exploring their creativity. We believe art education should be inclusive, welcoming, and available to people of all ages and abilities.
Art brings people together, inspires curiosity, and builds meaningful connections. By expanding access to arts education, we help create a stronger, more creative, and culturally vibrant community.

Kirkland Arts Center tuition scholarships cover a portion of class tuition, up to 100% discount. Scholarships are limited and available on a financial need basis and dependent upon availability of funds. To apply, send the following information to education@kirklandartscenter.org.

Scholarship Policy: Scholarships apply only to tuition and do not include student supplies, materials, equipment, or fees except when noted; these are solely the responsibility of students, except when noted. Scholarships are awarded for one quarter and may not be extended for additional quarters. Application for a scholarship does not guarantee a scholarship will be awarded. Receiving a scholarship does not guarantee a spot in a class. Scholarships are applied directly to the price of tuition at the time of registration by Education Department staff who must register the scholarship recipient. Scholarships may not be redeemed for cash nor transferred. Kirkland Arts Center reserves the right to discontinue the scholarship program at any time.
