The Kirkland Arts Center Gallery is a nonprofit, community-focused gallery space. Its mission is to support local artists and curators by providing a space for exhibitions that engage and inspire the greater community. These exhibitions encourage participation in the arts by making work accessible and available to residents of Kirkland. KAC supports emerging and established artists to exhibit their work and participate with the community in exploring what the work inspires in them. Our contemporary gallery features 5 to 6 shows per year in a variety of media on diverse topics. The KAC Gallery is free and open to the public, including opening receptions and artist talks.
The gallery manager is on-site for office hours on Tuesdays–Fridays 11-4 pm and Saturdays 11 am -2 pm, gallery@kirklandartscenter.org.
KAC also hosts exhibitions at the Kirkland Public Library. KAC is proud to partner with the Kirkland Library to bring local artists and exhibitions to the community.
Resilience
October 17 – November 15, 2025
Each work in this exhibition is a testament to the artist’s journey through challenge and change. Through diverse mediums—painting, sculpture, and mixed media—these pieces capture moments of vulnerability, struggle, and ultimately, triumph. The creative process itself mirrors resilience: what begins with uncertainty and experimentation transforms through persistence and intent into art that illuminates and inspires.
Artists: Carolyn Autenrieth, Mary Coss, Stephanie Hargrave, Ellen Hochberg, Claire B Jones, Sarah Jones, Deborah Kapoor, Anna Macrae, Carol Milne, Flora Ramirez Bustamante, and Lynne Rigby.
