New Beginnings: Welcoming David Lynx at KAC

On February 8th, 2024, Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) was thrilled to welcome David Lynx as our new Executive Director during a vibrant reception. This celebration also highlighted our latest exhibition, “Coronarya: Crisis, Color, Control” by Crunchybird, showcasing a personal journey through post-pandemic society, available until March 8, 2024.

The reception hosted long-standing artists, faculty, and donors of KAC

David brings a wealth of experience from his recent role at Larson Gallery and previous arts-related positions, enhancing our community with his passion. The evening was further illuminated by awarding Don and Merrily Dicks the HeART of the Community Award for their unparalleled support and contributions to the arts. Merrily Dicks especially has been deeply embedded in KAC’s history since its inception.

We were also excited to announce the Avant Garden Auction and Garden Party on May 18, 2024, at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture in Seattle. This fundraiser is a cornerstone event for supporting our educational and gallery programming, inviting the community to join in the celebration and support of the arts.
