The Kirkland Arts Center is happy to present, KAC teaching artist, Maja Sereda’s drawings of the natural world at the Kirkland Public Library.
Maja Sereda renders detailed mixed media drawings on paper. Her fascination with details germinated in childhood and continue to this day. Sereda’s current body of work is a reflection of her personal relationship with nature, her creative process and her philosophy. The drawings are “collectives” of eyes, plants, animals, bugs and more, living individually as well as together, creating a tightly knit fabric of our environment/our home. Home Reimagined looks closely at Pacific Northwest birds and their homes, and how humans are making an impact on that delicate structure.
All artwork displayed at the Kirkland Public Library Satellite Exhibition is for sale as marked by the Kirkland Arts Center.
