Avant Garden is in the books for 2025, and the next exhibition is currently being installed in the gallery!

Inherit the Whirlwind, a two-person show from Malaya & Tom Gormally storms into KAC May 16-June 25. Addressing our current zeitgeist, the exhibit features drawings and largescale sculptures from Tom done in his pointed, sometimes humorous socio-political commentary, and pairs them with Malayka’s touching and poignant paintings of immigrants both past and present.
This show is going to be a lot of fun, so I hope you’ll join us for the opening reception Friday, May 16 from 6-8 pm. In addition to some fantastic art, we will also have live music! Belicia Navarro and Henk Dawson will be performing standards from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s during the reception.

Malayka and Tom will also be giving an artist’s talk Saturday, June 14 from 1-2. They are an entertaining duo so you don’t want to miss out!
