Request for Qualifications: STEAMBOT

KAC is seeking individuals and collaborative groups to create interactive artwork for an exhibition in the KAC Gallery during October and November of 2010. Steambot will feature interactive work that combines both current and 1900’s-era technology. Click here for more information.

The Kirkland Arts Center Gallery fosters regional artist, encourages innovation and creativity, and provides rare opportunities for independent curators. Committed to engaging, accessible contemporary art, the KAC gallery showcases emerging and established artists and examines emerging themes and regional styles. Critically and popularly accalimed, the KAC Gallery is the only free, professional non-profit gallery on the Eastside.

The Gallery also presents three annual exhibits: the Members' Exhibition, Annual Holiday Arts Sale and either the biennial ceramics exhibition or the biennial KAC Instructors' Exhibit.

Gallery Hours:

• Monday through Friday 11 AM - 6 PM
Saturday 11 AM - 5 PM


• Second Thursday each month until 8:00 PM, in conjunction with the Kirkland Gallery Association ART WALK.


• Closed on national holidays
