Kirkland Arts Center spaces are rented on an “as is” basis. We strongly recommend potential renters visit the space before making reservations.
We often recommend Lynn’s Bistro or Twelve Baskets Catering, both of which are located nearby and have catered events at KAC in the past.
KAC has approximately four 6-foot rectangular tables and 50+ chairs available for use but does not provide linens, serving trays, tableware, or sound equipment. Use of any KAC supplies/items must be arranged at the time of rental and is dependent on availability.
Please let staff know when you book your rental that you would like use of the projector and screen. Additional setup time may be necessary to get the system connected and running before your event.
Please make sure your laptop has a compatible A/V connector. Our projector has ports for USB, VGA, and HDMI cables and we have adapters for Mini DisplayPort and full-sized DVI. If your laptop is not compatible, email info@kirklandartscenter.org or call (425) 822-7161 x105 to arrange use of one of our laptops.
We also always recommend bringing a backup of your presentation or other files on a thumb drive.
Users are expected to leave the facility in the same condition as they found it at the time of rental. A $200 cleaning fine will be added if the kitchen or any other space is not satisfactorily cleaned after use. This fine will automatically be charged to the credit card number provided unless paid immediately after the event.
Renters are responsible for any damage to the Arts Center and its contents, including equipment, supplies, art, etc. Renters agree to compensate KAC for any damages that occur during the event. KAC will automatically deduct up to $250 from the credit card number provided to cover the cost of any damages and will then create a payment plan for any additional amount due.
Two spaces directly behind Kirkland Arts Center are reserved for disabled parking and quick loading and unloading. The red zone in front of the gallery on Market St. may also be used for temporary loading and unloading.
