Kirkland Arts Center is located at 620 Market St., Kirkland, WA 98033.

Driving

Southbound

Take I-405 S to exit 18. Turn right onto NE 85th St. in Kirkland. Continue on NE 85th St. as it becomes Central Way. Turn right onto Market St. Kirkland Arts Center is on the corner of Market St. and 7th Ave.

Northbound

Take I-405 N to exit 18. Merge onto NE 85th St. in Kirkland. Continue on NE 85th St. as it becomes Central Way. Turn right onto Market St. Kirkland Arts Center is on the corner of Market St. and 7th Ave.

Parking

Kirkland Arts Center students and visitors may use the Lakeside Christian Church parking lot located just across our back alley (access on 1st St.) every day except Sunday. Street parking around Kirkland Arts Center is also free to the public.

Two spaces directly behind Kirkland Arts Center are reserved for disabled parking and quick loading and unloading. The red zone in front of the gallery on Market St. may also be used for temporary loading and unloading.

Buses

KAC is accessible on Metro Routes 255 & 234 which stop at the corner of Market St. and 8th Ave. KAC is also a short walk from the Kirkland Transit Center which is served by southbound routes 235, 236, 238, and 245 and northbound routes 235, 236, 238, 248, and 540. Visit the King County Metro website for the most up to date route and schedule information.

Accessibility

The Peter Kirk Building was built in 1892 and is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Due to the historic nature of the building, the facility is not fully accessible. Our restrooms do have ADA compliant stalls but our only restrooms are located on the second floor; a full flight of stairs are required to reach the restroom from the first and third floors. Many of our doors and halls are narrower than the ADA standard.
